Welcome to Gumbrill’s Property Services a letting and management company established in 2003, run by owners Peter and Josephine based in Castlehaven approx. 5 Km. outside of Skibbereen in West Cork Ireland.
Following our decision to relocate back to Ireland and while in the process of searching for our ideal home in West Cork we found it difficult to rent a property. This service was provided by private landlords as estate agents were not actively dealing with rentals.
We saw a niche in the market for someone to provide a letting and management service and as both our careers in London were in the property industry, Peter’s in facilities management and Josephine’s as a Client Accountant with her own portfolios of properties, we felt that we had the necessary expertise to provide this service.
We opened our business in June 2003, letting and managing residential properties in Skibbereen, West Cork, Ireland. Peter has been running the business on a full time basis since 2008.
Although Josephine had been working as a property professional for more than 10 years, in 2012 the PSRA regulations came into force and this encouraged her to return to education to ensure compliance with the educational requirements of the new regulations.
With over 13years’ experience in letting and management, in 2014 we took the next step and went into the selling of property.
Our aim is to continue providing a professional service to all our clients, to treat everyone that we do business with vendors, buyers,landlords and tenants with respect. As a small company we are able to provide a personal service to all our clients and we can tailor our service to meet your needs. We are very hands on and you will always find us willing to find the solution to your problem.
